Welcome to -  Clayton Barrett Gibson's Imagination Station 2010

This site portrays examples of Clayton Barrett Gibson a father of four children currently residing in the shadow of Mount Taranaki New Zealand.

The following pages are examples of Claytons' talents & efforts in the visual arts.

Clayton believes that he is a ‘self-trained’ artist

(learn by ‘doing knowledge’ is power).

Claytons’ skills are in Pencil Portraiture, Portrait Sculpture (Clay), Illustration, Personalized Tattoo designs & Tattooing.

A number of commissioned portraits Clayton has completed are of the ‘newly born’ or 'recently passed’. Clients have been so moved by the accuracy & likeness that it has brought them to tears.
Clayton comments that to bring people to tears through shear happiness brings him great personal satisfaction & pride in his work.  It is also very humbling.

Clayton has also had great success in designing Personalized Tattoos, keeping in mind that whatever is Tattooed is permanent and alters the appearance of the individual. With this in mind Clayton goes to great lengths to ensure all elements within the design are relatable on a personal level to each specific client. This results in a Tattoo which reflects the personality of the wearer.

Clayton has proudly just completed illustrations’ for a children’s book which is currently in print.
Clayton comments that having no shortage of children, they serve a never-ending inspiration.

Clayton has a very real passion for his work and he can be contacted through the page ‘contact the author’
